articles : Bala Bushman.....don't mess
This is an interview that I've always wanted to do. An interview with the Bushman himself. I remember all of us giving his nickname 'Bushman' bcoz he always end up in the bushes everytime he finishes a grind on the KJ curb. Kinda funny though...ehehhe.
I still remember the time I taught him how to topside soul back then, but now, he does it better than me. He's talented, balls of steel, and always tells himself, "Go big or go home.". This is what keeps him motivated.
Overall, he's a funny man to be with. Very inspirational skater to me, seems to perfect every single trick everyone does. The best trick I ever saw him did in a competition was during the 2002 Asian XTour. No one thought of the trick, he just climb up the banner at the starter box and gap down, I can say around 10 feet or more less. He's crazy, insane, whatever you want to call him. (Wei Yeng): What's up with you not locking on the first trick but it's always the 2nd trick that locks during a comp run?
Hmm, I guess if I didn't get the first trick on, I might as well try and get the 2nd trick locked on. It's like doing a fishbrain and not landing it, and then I push my limit to try an alley oop fishbrain but instead I locked on the grind, it's like, I don't know, never say die, Nigga !!!!!
